10 Lessons I Wish I Had Learned Earlier in Life
My Dad always told me, “I’d feel if I didn’t listen.”
If you’ve followed me on here or Quora for an extended period, you know I’m trying to figure shit out. I am one big walking mistake, but I am full of lessons.
My mistakes don’t define me is what I read, but sometimes I feel different because I keep repeating some when I’ve already learned the lesson. It is so brutal.
Then I disguise it in my writings like I know what the fuck I’m doing when in reality, I am clueless. I know what I should be doing, probably like many people, but we choose to take the easy, less painful way out, we use distractions.
Anyway, here is a list of 10 lessons I’ve learned too late in life, but are they really lessons if I keep repeating some of them?
- Health: All that processed food you are eating, the booze you drink, and the exercise you never did. You guessed it. It will catch up to you later in life. It’s never too late to start.
- Relationships: Most will spend years with the wrong person out of comfort. They will keep waiting for things to change, only to have everything remain “miserably comfort.”
- Happiness: Many chase money, careers, or even relationship hop, thinking, “this is my one!” None of which will make you happy and will make you miserable more than likely. Only to wake up 5,10,15 years later and realize you have been running in circles.
