Life can be much easier but less rewarding if you live a life of denial. Many lack the awareness needed to initiate change and self-growth. Most go through life chasing a new relationship, career, substance, or another form of distraction to avoid looking in the mirror.

Many people believe what the media and their families tell them. Many signify success with careers, titles, and money, even if what they do in life makes them unhappy. What represents a “successful” life? Success can mean many things to many different people. Maybe you are chasing that career that you believe will fill that hole in your life? Perhaps you are trying to repair that marriage or relationship that has been damaged beyond repair? Maybe you live a life deemed “normal” by society standards, but you are dying a little more with each passing day.

The world runs around worrying about what others think when in reality, the only opinion that matters of you is “yours.’ It’s a simple concept to hear but a complicated concept to change.
