8 Delusional Ways Narcissists See Themselves as Victims
They play as big a victim in life as they do relationships also.
If you’ve had the pleasure of dealing with one of these individuals, it probably didn’t take long to realize something was off. If you didn’t know it early on, you probably realize now something was off, but you were blinded by the charm and vulnerability.
At first, you might have felt sorry for the “bad hand of life” they’ve dealt to them until this person’s true colors began to shine. They started showing little glimpses of the actual person under all the fake images they portray. All the failed relationships begin to make sense to you; it had nothing to do with their ex but everything to do with them. All the abuse they have told you about isn’t what happened to them; it’s their projected narrative of what they do to anyone that gets close to them.
They take no responsibility for anything that went wrong in past relationships or their lives. It was always due to someone else and never them.
Here are 8 ways they play the victim from my experience.
- When they cheat and get caught, they blame you.
- When they abuse you but blame you.
- When they live a disaster of a life and blame life.
