8 Valuable Things in Life Most Don’t Consider Until it is too Late
What you take for granted, someone else is praying for.
It’s easy to get lost in the rat race of life and lose focus on what is important. Maybe you are consumed in a toxic relationship or dead-end job. If that is the case, it becomes almost a default to dwell on the misery you are volunteering in. I know; I do it often.
There is much more to life than grinding it out in some cubical or dead-end job, waiting for that next promotion or vacation to escape your reality. If you are in a dysfunctional, unfulfilling relationship, this just adds to an already miserable existence in life. Sounds harsh, I know, but I see many playing the part daily.
Caring what others think
Listening to others’ opinions on how I “should” live my life is one of my biggest struggles. I’m 48 and still trying to sort things out, and no matter how bad it gets, I try and find some form of positive out of every situation I find myself in, good and bad. I finally realize I control my life, no one else. I choose who to surround myself with and what path I take. My lifestyle isn’t for everyone, and I’m working on being Ok with that.
