A Fatal Shark Attack in Sydney, Australia Proves Many Lack Common Sense
We are living in a very unique time others will never experience.
I’m not some crazy Peta supporter, but I feel sorry for animals in populated areas. I just read an article on a Great White Attack in Sydney. They are setting traps with bait to catch and move the animal to deeper waters. What they won’t tell you is this form of trapping usually results in the shark’s death before it is successfully transferred.
Let’s say someone broke into your house, you had no idea what their intentions were, but you shot and killed them. Now, let’s say after you shot and killed the person, the authorities came in and drugged you, then moved you to a different house. You were protecting yourself and home, right?
You would wake up and be like, “What just happened? Where am I?”
I know this is a far stretch, and I’m reaching here, but it’s a similar scenario. These animals were here long before we were. And before entering their “homes,” we should take responsibility for the risk involved in doing so. And if something happens, such as death, we accept responsibility for invading their space and move on.
Same with when there is a bear attack. The bear is generally hunted down and most likely killed…
