You have to come to a point of really hating yourself. It’s taken me years of searching, drinking, eating and dating my way to find a purpose. And the only answer I was able to uncover was, “I don’t really like myself.” It became painfully obvious as I drank, and had very toxic relationships who supported what I subconsciously set out to do, destroy myself.

A purpose is hard to find when you have no idea what you’re looking for, or know who you are for that matter. You’ve lived life outside yourself for years, escaping, blending and trying to fit in. Most get stuck in the rat race of societal, or family conditioning, it’s all we know. In doing that many fear to take the risk to try something “different.”

There are one of two ways you can live with what you can’t stand.

  • Create a delusional version of yourself along with a life that backs it up. But you have to be consistent when you play the part. Make sure the “character” you develop is flawless so no one questions your “authenticity.” I mean you hear this word all over social media. Everyone is living their best life! And there is no shortage of people who take the extra effort to record all the “highlights” while leaving out the gory truth.
