Censorship is Nothing More Than Desensitization
It’s the saddest thing I’ve ever witnessed.
Tough thing to think about in a world that has been desensitized to the degree many have stopped giving a fuck. It’s hard to believe in real empathy nowadays. Everything is done for a click, view, like, or compliment. This “look at me” mentality is sickening. THEY control what we see, it’s not the other way around.
Social media, media, AI, Narcissism, Mental illness, Politics, lack of accountability, gaslighting, etc is all boiling over. But we are too consumed with our phones, relationships, delusion, and what your local 5 O'clock news tells you the “imagined” distractions are so to brainwash you to the bigger issues at hand.
It’s not racism, it’s not border control, it’s not tariffs, it’s not Trump, it’s not Biden, it’s not anything. But they have to have you believe in something. If they instill fear and enough hate, that will do the trick! And it’s working!
I like to sit around and feel sorry for how my life turned out, while it’s sad, it all was a choice. Yea, I was smacked around a bit as a kid, emotionally abused, bullied, had friends die young, had some shitty relationships, but after a certain age I was in the driver seat. Even if the one who gave me the lessons wasn’t qualified, I continued to drive the car how I was taught, and my driving was horrific. I’ve had some pretty horrific crashes. But I’m still walking.
I’m a firm believer in the “more” you know, and aware you become, you realize just how cruel the world is..
Some call me negative, I call it reality.
Control, that’s sad. It’s exactly what is happening, but it’s too late.
Look around.
