You managed to run writers off at an alarming rate.
I’m sorry folks(writers), there was a glitch in our platform, again, and it seems money is missing….again! But maybe, just maybe, it was that $200K+ job you posted, but deleted for more help! Quite a hefty pay plan for a mediocre site.
Oh, the potential Medium had
Where writers were once rewarded for their writing, but now they are told “oops, we were hacked, and AI ate up all your monetized money, but we are working on it!” All while you ban accounts that had nothing to do with the “glitch,” and minimize the pay of others in the same process, and do nothing about it. Have someone from your high paying salaried positions craft up a article explaining how it is growing pains, again! Give us something!
Back when I started here, four years ago, you had top writer bonuses, and I thought that was great. Not just because I nailed a $500 prize on my first month here, but it gave more incentive to put out quality content. A month later, that was discontinued.
I was an daily avid writer up until about two years ago when you decided to take it upon yourself to edit, and delete one of my writings. No explanation beforehand, just “poof, it be gone!”
