Consequential Change

When they speak, you best pay attention.

It may feel, or look sudden, but it’s anything but that. It’s taken years, maybe decades of pure torture, mistakes, bad decisions, lost potential and fading hope. And even then that might not be enough to initiate real change. The older you get, the more difficult it is to change.

If you aren’t taking care of things in life, you will slowly see the consequences as you approach your 40–50’s. The “things” could be mental, and physical health, finances, relationships, goals, responsibilities, etc.

The real lost souls call it a mid-life crisis, I call it mid-life consequences.

The “crisis” in mid-life helps some avoid the accountability they ignore. Consequences make sure you don’t forget, as they keep dropping painful reminders.

Unfortunately, some have a short-term memory.
