Enough With The Articles on How to Get Followers And Money
I admit, I wrote one, and that was enough
Listen, I’m going to be straight up. Some people are chasing the wrong calling. It’s a sad reality, I know. Hell, I might be, but I’m giving it some time before I choose my path.
Who wouldn’t want to wake up, grab your cup of coffee or vodka and write? Then the excitement of publishing it for your 1000’s of followers while you watch your stats and bank account grow, right!? You are reading with excitement as many of your readers are engaged with what you wrote. They love it!
The truth is, very few make it as a professional writer, in my opinion. I’m not sure when it would be a good time to call it quits. If you have been writing for 6–12 months and haven’t gathered a small, engaging following, you may be chasing the wrong passion.
It doesn’t mean you can’t write; it just means the dream of collecting a livable wage from writing isn’t in your future.
You could be like the Michael Jordan of writing, though. Maybe you were cut from the high school writing team but then turned out to be a Hemingway. I mean, it happens, but let’s be honest. Chances are slim.
I see at least 3–4 articles a day on how to get 100 followers, how to get engagements, how to make $1000 a month — everyone…
