How Did a Guy Like Me Make $9984 Writing Last Year?
It’s not paying the bills, but it’s a start for a guy that started writing 2.5 years ago.
Three years ago, if you had asked me if I would make money off writing, I would have said you’re freaking nuts!
I began writing on Quora after a very abusive and screwed-up relationship. I remember liking to write when I was back in the 7th grade, but that was the last time I attempted to write anything.
When I first started on Quora, I posted questions non-stop, trying to figure out what was wrong with me or my relationship. Or hell, possibly both. Quora is a wealth of knowledge for those from all walks of life. Some content there can’t be found anywhere else; it has helped me tremendously in my search for myself and freedom.
So, one day I saw a question and thought I’d answer it. “What if your card is declined at a restaurant and you’ve already eaten the food?”
If you follow me or know anything about my writings, this isn’t something I’d write about.
But it was my first taste of writing, and it went viral with over 45K likes.
