I’ve been writing on Medium for a little over a year. When I first started, I had some success, well, what I would call success. You can read about my first six months here.
Right around December, something happened, not just to my account but to others too, from what I read. Most writers saw a dip in earnings and overall stats, me included. I wasn’t doing anything different. I was still writing on the same topics, writing 5–7 articles a week scheduled at 7 am most mornings.
I blamed it on the holiday’s at first, but when stats stayed in the gutter I started blaming the repetitiveness of my topics.
