I think the older you get the more difficult it is to make friends. And the friends from high school or the neighborhood drift away as they start thieve life, generally having kids. Having kids was never for me.

I’ve tried Meetup, which it’s not bad but it is awkward and many don’t see my view on life. I like your article. While I never traveled abroad and made friends I have made a few friends in different parts of the states when traveling.

I have trouble associating between friends and acquaintances. And now I have a little more trust issues I’m trying to work through, and I’m known to give trust away way to easily and it ends up having a negative effect.

So for now I write and meet people that way. That’s a common ground in a sense. And hopefully when I travel and stay in my first hostel I’ll meet those on a similar life path, whatever that may be. Wandering lost I guess.
