If You Can’t Stay Mad at Someone, it Might be Because of This Reason.

It doesn’t matter how poorly they treated you or what they did; you let shit go.

It means you have a level of emotional maturity not many have.

Maybe it means you can see people aren’t perfect, and we all make mistakes.

Maybe you move on and cut them out of your life but understand that what they did has nothing to do with you but everything to do with their demons that are battling.

There is something very healthy if you can do it. Good job.

Anger will lead to depression, sickness, resentment, and revenge

Staying mad at someone because “they are who they are” and make poor choices will only hurt you, not them. We can choose who we allow and who to keep around in life.

I know; I’ve spent five years angry as fuck, bingeing my way into a 6’ hole that is slowly killing me.

Holding on to anger is probably one of the most self-deprecating, self-defeating emotions you can ruminate in.

Find healthy ways to release it, don’t hold it in. Or its older sibling will come to the dance, depression.

Trying to find where the anger is really coming from is the tricky part.

Sometimes it leads to being angry with yourself

Nothing is worse than being angry with the person you spend most of your time with.

You.

I have experience with that too. But that’s for another answer.
