Is it True Women Have Ridiculously High Standards When Dating?
Social media has created unrealistic expectations in the dating world.
It’s not just women, men have no idea what the fuck they are looking for either. Most likely you have two people wanting to date way above their means, but what does that even mean? In walks “judgemental,” right?
Last night I had my nephew tell me an attorney would be way out of my “league.” Really? Why?
Because I’m not your typical, superficial blow hard that goes around trying to portray something I’m not? I wear my emotions, thoughts, life and feelings sometimes on my sleeve in the open air, for all to see.
I understand this might not be for everyone, and I’m a constant work in progress. I seem to be failing more than succeeding most times, but it doesn’t make me any lower down the totem pole than other men. But I can see why I wouldn’t be searched out by many.
I’d rather date someone with life experiences who is being humbled, or was humbled by their mistakes. Those who take accountability, and are aware of why, and where they are in life. They don’t have to have a net worth of a million dollars, and I couldn’t care less what they do for a living, as long as they have some form of independence.
