My Secret Life. What’s Yours?
It’s not so secret anymore, is it?
It happened again. Fred always promises change, but that’s what keeps him going is his “broken promises.” Not so much to others but more so to himself.
Fred loves that false sense of hope in himself that he seeks from others, most importantly, relationships.
Boy, oh, boy, does Fred love to chase! The more you run, the more he changes his shoes to keep up. There is no amount of dysfunction Fred won’t chase. It kinda gives him a sense of belonging, if that makes sense.
Fred woke up this morning not knowing what, who, or where he talked to and went yesterday. I know, right? It was a rough one for even Fred to digest. He’s still confused.
He remembers bits and pieces, but not enough to figure out the 3–4 hour gap in time he can’t account for. He knows he was on his way to an AA meeting but somehow got derailed and went to a bar along the way. Here Fred put himself in some risky situations where it could have cost him his life, but Fred doesn’t care much about life or himself; it shows with his toxic actions.
