Writing is One Job You Can’t be Horrible At and Make a Living
Don’t we all wish we were paid to be meteorologists?
I can think of a handful of jobs that pay well, and you can literally suck at it. That’s the problem with some jobs. All you are is a body at some of these places. If you’re anything like me, you have questioned how some people got in their position at times. Company’s are desperate and are hiring anyone. Qualifications no longer matter.
Ambition and drive are lacking in America.
Many have the mentality that “the less they have to do, the better.” And better yet; can they get paid for doing nothing? Our good ole’ Government contributed to this madness during Covid-19. They were throwing money at people like they had it to throw away. Doing so brought every lazy American out of the woodwork and justified their view on life.
Someone owes me something; I shouldn’t have to work for anything.
Now we have fast-food restaurants offering $18+ an hour, and they still can’t get people to come to work. Before Covid-19, the problem was the pay wasn’t a livable wage, but now what’s the excuse? $18 an hour isn’t great, but it’s much better than the $10hr most paid before the pandemic.
