Research has shown that attraction can sneak up on us or take us by storm at first sight. Being drawn to good looks is the basic foundation of human attraction. We consciously or not seek partners who are similar in IQ, height, or appearance.

A panel of studies has shown Men are attracted to youth and health in women. Men also prefer symmetrical features, clear skin, lovely eyes, full lips, and a narrow waist with wider hips.

As for Women, research has shown they prefer a man who can provide and whom they feel protected. They also look for physical features like broad shoulders, an athletic build, and a deep voice.

While all the above is what research shows, what about in the real-life dating world? There is no guide for a sure-fire way to attract the partner that best fits you. Research is just that, research. It gives us a catalyst as a guide to get out and do our own exploration.

For some, their research falls short before they find the partner they want.

Many will decide to settle for various reasons because it’s not a secret, the dating world has become increasingly more difficult in the dating app world.

The trick to deleting the dating app

First, you have to know what you want and what you want to avoid. The dating app is a breeding ground for manipulators. What better way to prey on the unsuspecting victim than a dating app? You publicly put out in the world what you are looking for and your idea of the perfect partner. In doing so, the manipulators will flock and become the person you want. And by the time you figure it out, it’s too late; the seeds have been planted.

It’s best to know what you are getting into before you go to the route of swipe right, swipe left. I’m not saying there aren’t good people on dating apps, because there are, but the quality of people on the apps is less desirable than you think.
