Should You Follow Your “Head,” or Your “Heart” When it Comes to Love?
Get your mind out of the gutter, will you? At least for a second.
Follow what? Which head? That’s an extremely important question for the men of Medium.
Heart, or head, hmmmmm
People confuse all this shit with “heart.” Let’s be real here, your heart can’t love. It’s all in your head, that’s the problem. The mind will have you believing all kinds of crazy shit that isn’t true if you allow it. And most do.
All you have to do is overthink it, or rationalize something that’s not meant to be for it to be. At least you will think it’s love. I mean, your head thinks it’s love, because you heart doesn’t know shit. It’s a muscle that pumps blood, that’s it. Gets you all excited an shit when your head convinces you it’s “love” you finally found.
Very few know what love is
Love isn’t abuse, it isn’t ups, and downs, it’s not obsession, it’s not being unable to do anything without this person and feeling like your world is ending.
Love nowadays is “settling.” Love is also a lot of trying to find in someone else what we can’t offer ourselves. This all comes from years of conditioning.
