The Problem With Chasing Life’s Purpose
We all have a purpose, don’t we?
So many get wrapped up in the societal norm of life, and conditioning from childhood, they never find it.
We aren’t raised in a cultural to seek out our purpose. We are raised to be obedient slaves, and please those around us. You know? Creating that life we are told we have to live by others, who are chasing the “same” life.
Get good grades, make your parents, and everyone around you happy, overpay for a useless college degree so you can feel some form of accomplishment.
You had to go to college, you’re friends went, right? You don’t want to look like the misfit of the bunch, so you suck it up and go. But be prepared to not graduate.
After college, or maybe before, you start seeking a partner to tackle this miserable life with you. You seek someone that will do just enough to fit in with the life others told you about you are supposed to live. It’s here you two can start creating that superficial life you see most others doing.
Then comes the career!
