Sure, go ahead. It will justify their abuse and their delusion that YOU are the problem and not them. They will eat that shit up.

Ask yourself, why are you sorry?

Is it your reaction to their gaslighting and manipulation? What? Did they cheat on you and say they were sorry, and they did it again, and you snapped? Did you snap and lose your shit on them because you are a normal human with feelings and feel guilt for the verbal assault you delivered? Or maybe their manipulation has taken you to the brink of insanity?

I can relate. I still live with the guilt of the words I would say to her. I would hit my breaking point and just blow. Then after I would come to my senses, I would feel horrible. But my reaction to her abuse would give her the ammunition to use against me and accuse me of being the abusive one.

My ex would cheat on me many times then come back saying, “she knows I’m the one now!” What would I do? I’d apologize to her, try and understand, then take her to lunch or dinner. I would reward her for cheating! Truly sick shit.

In reality, whatever it is you said doesn’t phase them. I’m serious. They may act…
