One birth at a time the house of cards are crumbling.
It can only be bottled up so long. Your childhood is like the foundation of a house. If the foundation isn’t stable and secure, it’s a good possibility the house will crumble over time. And it doesn’t happen quickly. It is a slow, painful process as bits and pieces of your life are chipped away until nothing is left.
The real issue in the world is childhood trauma
We all had it, and some have it worse than others. That’s why nearly 60% of the prison population has suffered some form of childhood trauma. Prisons aren’t in place to reform inmates. If it were, why is the recidivism rate an astounding 67%!
And all the homeless and addicts you see in popular spots like Kensington and Skid Row, yep, childhood trauma. There are also many suffering from mental health issues too. Still, a lot of addicts and homeless come from a chaotic childhood. And they are left on the streets to rot.
We attract what is familiar to us even if we do it at a subconscious level. The more relationships you have, the more the untreated trauma will surface its ugly little head. Then the blame game starts when in reality, it’s a reflection…
