Trying to Love Someone Who Doesn’t Love Themselves Will End in Disaster
There is a double-edged sword on both the giving and receiving end.
The Predator
They can come disguised as the perfect partner or one of a broken soul that needs love. Their story can range from the ideal childhood to a loving single mother who escaped an abusive marriage barely with her life. Generally, alcoholic and can be very vulnerable at times and knows how to fluff your insecurities until the bottom drops out. There will be extreme highs and a whole shit load of drama. The constant push and pull of attention and abuse will create a horrific bond that will seem impossible to break as you crave the very person you need to escape.
The Prey
This person is similar to the Predator. They, too, can be manipulative. Their form of manipulation is the testing of love over and over again. The Prey has excessive amounts of love to offer the Predator. The Prey nor Predator love themselves. One takes, and the other gives. The Predator will suck the well dry, and The Prey will lose themselves trying to please and prove their love to someone incapable of receiving love.
The above scenario is the most common dysfunction that surfaces when two people have no self-love. It almost always…
