What are dead giveaways that you are in a relationship with a Narcissist?

Paying attention to warning signs early on can save future emotional torment.

1. Sanity: Nothing makes sense. You begin to question reality.

2. Self doubt: You thought you found the “one”, am I right? But NOW they are telling you that you are the narcissist. All because you questioned their lies.

3. Apologizing: If you are feeling the need to apologize just to feel heard, you need to look at that. If you are apologizing for being abused, well….

4. Feelings: You aren’t allowed to have any. If you have a feeling and try to express it, “fuck you” how dare you try and express an emotion.

5. Fault: If you don’t know by now, it’s all your fault. The quicker you accept that, the quicker your life with them will continue.

6. Lies: Not the lies they tell you, but the lies you believe. You are lying to yourself if you stay with them. Nothing will change, no matter how many times you apologize.

7. Convenience: What? Yep, that’s exactly what you will be! You are of no importance to them, unless you are needed. If they have someone else that is less “work” they will “use” them, and bring you back later if you “behave.”
