I was going to put this answer off until later today, but knew it would be in “drafts” with the other 1000+ questions I “put off” for “later”

This morning I got home early. Told myself I’d go hike later, but I knew later would turn into tomorrow, or next week, so I put my shoes on, grabbed my earbuds, and left.

I’m in the process of improving my diet

I was going to roll through a drive-thru this morning and grab a quick “healthy” breakfast sandwich. I told myself I’ll get really healthy tomorrow. So instead of going to the drive-thru, I finished driving, went home and made something “healthy”

How do you overcome procrastination? You don’t. You work around it. You do it by building new, healthy “habits.”

Many things in life humans are wired to seek pleasure. Pleasure is something many never procrastinate to go chase.

I’m the king of procrastination

How I deal with it, is just DO SHIT. If there’s something that is on my list “to do” that day, I just do it.

Sometimes I’m kicking and screaming, and sometimes I do procrastinate. But its nothing but a habit that can be changed with repetition.

That’s what I’m doing now.

Taking action on doing what I know I need to do.

Tomorrow doesn’t exist, at least that’s what I tell myself until I wake up, and it’s a new day.
