What Happens When The Narcissists Runs Everyone Off?
They go on the hunt with even less morals and a conscience, if that’s possible.
They just keep lowering their standards. There’s always some poor soul a phone call away to take a hit from. They will go through hell and high water to avoid sitting alone with themselves. They might even surround themselves with animals to avoid any glimmer of self reflection.
It’s not pretty when it does happen
Sooner or later they have to “pay the piper,” and it’s not pretty. Once the cat’s out of the bag with family, and what few friends they have, finally get tired of their bullshit they step up the Narcissists will step up their manipulation.
But generally this will come with several failed attempts. They have hurt too many people. They have hit that proverbial plateau of abusing they can’t come back from.
Depending on how covert they are, they could play more of the victim, and see if that still works, or turn into one of the most grandiose assholes known to man kind and blame everyone and “jump ship.”
By jumping ship I mean moving, or make an attempt to “start over” so they can try and get it “right” this go around. Get a whole new supporting cast!
