What is The Most Important Life Lesson You Have Learned so Far?

It’s been a journey, but I’m slowly learning.

I have been on this self-discovery journey for about two years now. It hasn’t been easy; with every fall, I get right back up and try my best to learn the lesson each time.

I have a terrible habit of repeating the same self-sabotaging behavior multiple times, and that can be exhausting. Everyone has their own path they travel, and sometimes we cross those similar and sometimes not.

My journey is full of twists, turns, peaks, and many valleys, but I am getting there. The best lessons are usually the most painful if you are paying attention.

Life doesn’t come with a manual. If you are lucky, your parents taught you the basics and let you weave your way through life as you figure things out, but unfortunately, that isn’t always the case.

Below are some lessons I have learned thus far on my journey. I’d be lying if I said these lessons have been easy because they haven’t. Some have been downright brutal.

  1. Happiness: It doesn’t come from money, objects, or relationships. It comes from the inside.
  2. Health: As you age, you realize how important health is to take care of early.
