What it Looks Like to Expose a Covert Narcissist
At first, they may panic a little. But not for long.
This is when their narcissism kicks in, and they go to default.
They aren’t the narcissist you are!
Remember all the help you tried to give them? Or maybe you snapped and told them about their gaslighting and manipulation. They start using the same terminology you told them about against you. It’s called projection.
All that research you did is now backfiring on you.
You can bet they are playing the victim to whoever got wind of their abuse. They are painting you as the abuser and them as the savior, and you just wouldn’t let them love you.
All those insecurities you shared with them because they made you feel comfortable, well, they are now used against you.
All the cheating and lies they did, now they have excuses and reasons for it. The stories they will tell about the events will be nowhere near the truth. You know the truth, but they sure as shit will make you second-guess it.
They will latch on to a new supply and hurry and paint you as just another crazed lunatic. They don’t want word getting back to them. But it’s safe to say they chose a really fucked up loser like…
