What Simple Thoughts or Activities Made You Happy Today?
Sometimes it’s hard to find happiness amidst all the chaos I create.
I woke up this morning sober and without my toxic ex in my life. I woke up on time and out the door by 4am to start my day.
I drive Uber, and I judge myself a lot with this job. But it makes me happy most of the time. I meet many interesting people throughout my day, which helps keep me humble. Sometimes, I even get someone to tell me I “made their day.” That makes me feel good I can have that kind of impact on someone.
I am happy with my tiny studio, away from the chaos and abuse I used to call a relationship. The more alone I am in my home without outside distractions, the more my home makes me happy.
I drive until I reach my goal, which is usually 9am. I come home and prepare my juice. I make three, so I only have to make them two days a week. It’s a process and takes a little time. After I drink my juice, I go for a walk around my neighborhood and by the University where I played football back in 1995.
That workout takes roughly 1.5–2.5 hours, depending on if I do steps or strength training. Get home, check some emails, brainstorm on writing topics, maybe watch Judge Judy for an hour(hush it), might draw a little journal, or…
