What valuable lessons have you learned in life?
There are lessons if you are aware. Are you paying attention?
- The person you were conditioned to believe you couldn’t live without will be the person you question “how did you live with them.?”
- Someone who comes on strong sexually at the beginning of the relationship isn’t “relationship” material.
- Words mean nothing; actions speak. We cross many in life that talk a good game, but they are nowhere to be found when it comes time to take action.
- Just because someone has a “mental illness” doesn’t mean they are unlovable. With awareness, anything is possible. Some of the most abused can be the most caring in the right circumstances.
- Self-awareness is rarely sought. Many will portray they have it, but they don’t. It opens a view to a new world. And it can be a painful one at that.
- The choices you make today can be good/dire consequences in the present or distant future. Choose wisely.
- Take care of your traumas before having children. So your children aren’t forced to heal their traumas by being raised by you as a parent.
- Nothing good will come from something forced or rushed. Patience is where love and trust grow.
- There is so much more to an intimate relationship than sex and excitement. Toxic people will condition you to “think,” that’s it while denying you any real sense of connection or understanding.
- Every morning you wake up, and your feet hit the floor. That is a chance to correct yesterday’s mistakes and continue to work towards your greater purpose in life, whatever that may be. Never give up.
