What “wholesome” things are actually toxic?

Toxicity and acceptance are often confused.

  1. Kids: Using your kid on social media for an attention grab and likes and or just having kids in general. Many people have them for the wrong reason. Your kids shouldn’t be raised to mirror you. They should be raised to develop into their own skin.
  2. Love: Most have no idea what love is. They will stay in toxic situations in the almighty word of “love.” Most don’t love themselves but proclaim their love to you as they cheat and manipulate. That’s not loving.
  3. Social Media: Spending countless hours on social media portraying how perfect and wholesome your life is when you should be a walking billboard for toxicity.
  4. Family Vlogging: Parents forcing their kids to be part of attention fed societal norms, creating insecurities and pushing outside approval at a very young age.
  5. Public Acts of kindness: Sick shit. Here, “let me give you $100 and film it.” Let me pay for your meal and film it. Let me have my daughter go out while eating and give her food to a homeless man while filming it. All to get likes and attention on social media. Do it because you are a decent human being and not because you are an attention-seeking asshole.
  6. College Education: While some jobs require it, many can live an extraordinary life without it and have plenty…
