The delusion is the most damaging part.
It would be a level of dysfunction that would make Romeo and Juliet mild in comparison. Everyone from the outside looking in will see the toxicity but the two doing the dance.
The borderline thinks they found their soulmate, while the Narcissists is telling the borderline they have. The Narcissists is a master with their words while it sings sweet whispers on the ears of the borderline.
The only problem with the above scenario is the Narcissists knows what they are doing. They’ve been at this game way to long, and the person they are playing the game with is falling hook, line and sinker.
The borderline is a lost kid wandering through a forest of hell who happened to find “Red Cross.” This person is here to save them. They have been looking for love and attention like this their whole life!
