It will be the most emotionally draining and painful experience of your life

I still question what exactly my last relationship was. It’s safe to say there were definitely strong traits of Narcissism, and something was off, very off.

So, what is it like?

  1. Anxiety: Constant state of anxiety. You always wonder who they are talking to when they disappear and who they are choosing next over you.
  2. Enough: You never quite feel like enough. They always make you feel like there are better options.
  3. Confusion: For the most part, you will be in a constant state of confusion, questioning your sanity. They tell you one thing, and their actions say another.
  4. Gaslighting: You know what you saw. You know who they were with. But they are so god damn convincing you question your own reality.
  5. Silent Treatment: Be prepared for the Houdini act. If you have a trigger from past abuse, they will disappear or not respond. And if they do respond, it will be at their convenience with a short one to two-word answers.
  6. Delusion: Be ready to believe in it. If you don’t, you will be told you’re unsupportive and abusive.
  7. Emotions: If you have a moment from past cheating and lies, don’t check your feelings in time…
