When is it Best to Remain Silent And Not Say a Word?

What kind of silence?

• Are you dating some toxic asshole, and you are afraid to ask them a question? A silence that allows you to slowly die inside while this person tells you lie after lie, but you are scared to speak up and lose this “perfect catch?”
• Is it the silence your partner sits in as their actions have driven you, yet again, to the brink of insanity? You know?! You caught them again red-handed, talking to someone, dating someone else when they were leading you on and that other someone, lying about where they were, lying about who they were with. Then as you confront them, they sit in silence; in return, you break your silence and lose your shit! Then after you lose your shit, you sit in silence and second guess your reactions and reality. Is that the silence? The silence of fucking insanity?
• Or maybe it’s the one where you just keep your fucking mouth shut and let your partner run the show of delusion. Your feelings, thoughts, concerns, pleas for help, and pleads for the truth fall on deaf ears. They do what they want while using you when they want.
