When The Narcissists Humiliates You in Secrecy
If you knew how bad the narcissists talk about you behind closed doors, you might leave them.
That’s the thing. They are doing it right now, and you have no clue they are doing it. It doesn’t have to be in public. They do it behind closed doors with those you don’t know. What they tell others rarely will get back to you, but some are judging from afar.
Others know how they treat you and what you put up with. They, too, are afraid to stand up for themselves. While they probably understand you in a sense, it wasn’t very comfortable to me when everything came to the surface.
Her family, few friends, and therapist knew she was married, while I had no fucking clue. They all lied out of fear of her, I’d imagine. Or maybe they were as big a fuck up as she was?
You know how humiliating it is to be dating a married woman, and everyone knows it, but YOU, and no one, say anything. I felt like a home-wrecker, but I didn’t know what was going on.
This person meets your parents and close friends, talks about marriage, moving in together, and possibly starting a business together while they are married in secrecy.
All while never intending to divorce unless things work out with “YOU.” You are…
