When Was The Moment You Realized Someone Didn’t Care About You?
There were many more which I ignored
I had chest and back pain for a few days, and I decided to go to the ER.
The night before, my ex and I got in an argument because she thought it was a good idea to climb on my shoulders drunk when I was in pain, and I got upset and left.
The next day I decided to go the ER. I sent her a text to let her know I was going. I’m pretty stubborn and hard-headed, but I finally went. Come to find out; I was blocked. I don’t know why I did, but I sent her son a message to let his Mom know I was going to the ER. Her son communicated with me a few times while I was there, and he was at the same dinner.
But my ex couldn’t be bothered, and she had dinner and drinks to go to with her parents.
Four hours go by, and I get a text from her. She “acted” concerned and worried. If she were so concerned and worried, she would have contacted me when her son told her. But she is so heartless she can drink and eat while the person she said she loved was in the ER.
When I denied her request to come to the ER four hours later, she told me I was full of drama and disappeared again on me. Then I thought….” How did she do that?”
I run to her every time she has disturbing thoughts. Every time she threatened suicide, I was there! I’m there for her even after she cheated and lied. I was always there for her when she was feeling disgusted with herself.
It finally hit me; she didn’t care about me. She loved to say it, but her actions speak a foreign language that I don’t understand.
Actions can make you realize a lot.
Pay attention. Words are just words.
