When you’d take a bullet for your loved one, but they are the ones pulling the trigger.

One of the hardest things to do in life, is letting go of something you thought was real.

I met this girl.

She seemed to live a spiritual life, looking for growth. She said she did yoga, practiced mindfulness, and was two years divorced out of an abusive marriage. She was looking for someone on the same path.

I was two years divorced, working on my spirituality and self-awareness, and felt like the perfect match!

We laughed a boatload. We took little trips, we both loved goats, we both liked to cook, we both loved fun socks, we’re both vegetarian, both very insecure, and loved being in each other’s company. We talked of marriage, and starting an AirBnB, getting goats, having yoga, breakfast and lunch at our location.

She forgot to tell me one little thing: she likes to lie, and I mean A LOT. I don’t think she can help herself.

She was never divorced, nor was she single. Who knows how many others she had? I know of three.

Without getting into the messy details, it was a train wreck that she calls “mistakes!”

A mistake is putting three eggs in a recipe that calls for two— not juggling three guys and taking on a 4th!
