Why Are “Kind” And “Wise” People So Rare?
Most have an agenda or are kind due to expectations.
It’s not that they’re rare; they are guarded. Most kind and wise people have no idea who they are.
Being kind is easy, but some would beg to differ. It’s the wise part where the struggle comes into play. To become wise, you will have to go through some brutal shit. But, it’s the only way to develop wisdom most don’t know exists. It comes with a lot of emotional pain and action.
Everyone wants or thinks they have wisdom, but they don’t. So you must first have the awareness that leads to the actions that will create wisdom.
It’s no easy feat. No one likes discomfort. No one wants to look at all their character defects and issues. They have to create wisdom.
Being kind will only get you so far. Kindness without wisdom is called a doormat.
That’s why it’s rare.
