Why do Narcissists Seem to Get Away With What They do to People?
They get away with it for so long until they don’t.
If you’ve spent any time with one, you begin to see the shallowness and lack of depth they have. Everything about them is on a superficial level. It takes a heightened sense of awareness of those around them to see it. The longer you are around them the more clear their agenda becomes.
They never have any “true” friends. They are desperately trying to find the “one” that completes them. They are a miserable lost soul. They bounce around, creating chaos in an attempt to elicit a response from those around them. They use people; that’s all they do.
The real covert type of narcissism will disguise it as love and empathy. But they have none. Everything, and I mean everything, they do is to benefit them in some way. It really is crazy and confusing mind games they play.
They chase titles that don’t exist, tell outlandish stories, and portray an image to the outside world that is non-existent. It’s cringe-worthy shit.
Once you get an up-close look at them behind closed doors, it will all make sense.
Ultimately, they will be the only ones believing their delusional thoughts and actions. That and “maybe” some clueless alcoholic like…
