Why do Narcissists Set Out to Destroy Their Victims’ Lives?
I’m gonna play the devil’s advocate; I don’t think they do. They do what they know.
They are destroying in you what they will never possess in themselves. The good qualities they see in you are what they crave as their own. In return, it’s why they are attracted to you in the first place. Does that make sense?
Shit still confuses me, and I’m to the point I will never understand it, and most won’t. I mean, logically, we will understand it, but rationally it will keep us guessing for years.
In The End, They Hate Themselves.
And they hate every quality you possess that they don’t have but wish they did. So they don’t seek to destroy “you” per se. You are just collateral damage in their path.
They seek to destroy themselves.
It’s sad. They destroy the one person that would be there for them through anything.
They keep destroying the image of themselves in others they will never be.
Complicated shit.
