Do you want yourself?

Looking at all your good and bad qualities as a person, would you want “you” in a relationship?

If you are someone you don’t like very much but are looking to have that hole filled by someone else, well, you’re setting yourself up for a lifetime of misery.

Loving yourself is doing, acting, and showing up in ways you are proud of. You need to live a life that makes you feel good as a person inside and out. That includes physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I’ve spent decades trying to destroy a person inside me I was never given a chance to live. He was trying his damndest to crawl out of the depths of hell, but with each attempt, I’d stomp his fingers so he’d lose grip. Hell, for the most part, I didn’t even know I was doing it.

Self-destruction is always followed by self-loathing. So if you want to destroy a relationship quickly, do those two things. But let’s not bullshit ourselves; it all started when you destroyed the relationship with yourself. Or you never had a relationship with yourself, to begin with.
