A covert narcissist craves admiration and importance and lacks empathy toward others but can act in a different way than an overt narcissist. When considering the behavior of narcissists, it might be hard to imagine how someone could be a narcissist and be inhibited in their approach and behavior-Google

They can appear to have feelings.

• They will act like they care when it benefits them.
• They will even shed a tear when it helps them.
• They will appear vulnerable and sorry for their actions when put on the spot, only to repeat the same behavior on a different day.
• They are extremely sensitive to criticism.
• They are also the best at playing the victim when, in fact, they are the ones that dish out the abuse.

Signs:
