Will The Right Person Make Your Life Harder?
They will make it harder in the right ways if that makes sense.
Sure they will, but not in the way you think. What will happen is they show you a reflection of yourself. I believe in that reflection is when you know you found the “right” one.
They show you the harsh reality of what you need to address in your life
There is nothing easy about that. It will make it a little easier if you two are close to the same level of self awareness, if this is true, you have a chance at some real growth.
Don’t confuse it with an abusive relationship. One who makes your life miserable, and you dread being around this person. Many accept abuse for years believing in the “unconditional” love people are hoping for, but all love has conditions attached in some form. And accepting abuse, or neglect should never be one of them.
There is a fine line between abuse, and constructive criticism.
Your partner can’t have the “victim” mentality if the duo is going to work.
