Write 1000 Words a Day And Say Fu@k it
Live through your words until you can create the action to develop wisdom.
Seems simple enough, eh? Just get the ole pen out, or laptop and, fire out some words. Whatever is on your mind, just write it. Doesn’t have to make sense. What doesn’t make sense today might make sense in the future, or it could make sense to someone else if they read it.
My journey
I’ve been writing now for almost 3 years. I didn’t set out with writing as an intention. I began writing to express myself and, I use my writing as my voice. If you ever met me, I can be quite shy at first, unless there is alcohol involved, but if not, I’m rather timid.
With writing, I never have that anxiety. I just start writing. Whatever topic is on my mind I fire away. Sometimes it makes sense to me and sometimes it doesn’t. But that’s Ok, we are human, not everything we think or say will make sense. Sometimes what I write doesn’t make sense to me, but it does others.
There are times I will look back what I wrote 1–2 years ago and think, “WTF was I thinking? I wrote that?” But that was the place I was in at the time and the feelings I had. I can’t judge myself.
Writing, whether it is published or not is very therapeutic for me.
